The Martin Luther King holiday is a great time to reflect on the accomplishments of a truly amazing person. The quotes from his speeches are awesome and I enjoyed reading them again yesterday. But I found myself also reflecting on the civil rights issues still boiling over in America and I’ll be honest — it’s so damn disappointing. We can — and should — be doing better than this.
