The Martin Luther King holiday is a great time to reflect on the accomplishments of a truly amazing person. The quotes from his speeches are awesome and I enjoyed reading them again yesterday. But I found myself also reflecting on the civil rights issues still boiling over in America and I’ll be honest — it’s so damn disappointing. We can — and should — be doing better than this.

Just found this old sticker I made back in ‘92 or so – my old ‘zine was called TOOTHPICK. I took the photo of the rhinoceros couple while visiting the Milwaukee County Zoo the year before. Fun times! ‘Zines were a lot of fun back in the old days.
