I use social media like radio, just as Bob Ingrassia is quoted int he article:
Bob Ingrassia, a Minneapolis-based marketer, used to stress about missing something if he stayed offline too long. But he now likens social media to radio: “You turn it on when you want to hear some music or to catch the news, but you don’t worry about what you’re missing when the radio’s off and you are doing other things.”
I prefer that arrangement instead of adjusting to insanity.
