On Tuesday, Dick Costolo, Twitter’s chief operating officer, introduced some new ways Twitter will make money. This makes a lot of sense. However… Follower suggestions do not appear (right now) on: Twitter desktop clients, Twitter smartphone clients, and Mobile Twitter.com. Certainly, there are still a lot of tweeps who use twitter.com’s web interface, and perhaps the “New Twitter” interface will attract some of those who use Twitter Client products right now. But will advertisers be satisfied with reaching the demographic of twitter.com web only users? I don’t know.
