Ok. After watching this video, Google feels like the new Microsoft to me. I mean, the concept is compelling – no applications, no desktop, everything is on “the internets”. Software updates happen automatically. “Happens automatically” is the key – it just reminds me of all the times Microsoft would “help” me by knowing exactly what I wanted on my computer and how i wanted it updated.

But I guess if it all works correctly, why wouldn’t I want that? Right?

NOTE: Yes, I realize Apple was the new Microsoft before Google was.
