This was creepy. Got a Facebook Chat request from my Facebook friend Will, who I have not talked to in a long time. I was just shutting down for the night, got the alert, and new pretty quickly that he had been hacked. But the dialogue was well done — was this hacker’s code chatting me up, or was this a real live person? I couldn’t tell. So I tried using Oprah to find out, figuring if it was a person I would get a response that made sense and if it was hacker code I’d get a response that was generic and unrelated to the specific question. I’ll never know, because I got no response after I asked. Maybe I scared him/her away? Also, I did not actually click on the link, of course (and I replaced www with vvv below, just to neuter it). Oh, and “Ann” is a mutual friend of Will and I have. Very clever! And creeptastic. Let’s be careful out there, Facebookers!
