My 9-year-old has a “buckle fracture” in his left arm. We know this because I took him to urgent-care last night, and after 3 hrs, the XRAYS told us.

Today he got his permanent cast set (it’s BLUE!).

His arm saved his head & neck when he accidentally fell off the front porch head first.

I toast you, broken arm!

As inconvenient as this is right now, it’s way better than what I thought the outcome was going to be when I ran out to help.
