The Google Doodle in honor of Freddie Mercury’s 65th birthday is quite awesome.
This is a great Google doodle. Except for the big Google logo in it. A video this well done comes off as kind of cheap to me with all the Google logo integration. I wonder if people would have gone as gonzo for this creative if there had been a big Microsoft logo, or a big McDonald’s logo, or a big Chevrolet logo? you have to hand it to Google, though – They’ve achieved something pretty amazing with their ‘doodles’ campaign: Expected Product Placement. But this one just seemed a little too SPAMMY for some reason.
