My wife and I were chatting last night about the recent controversial comments by Pat Robertson about the earthquake in Haiti. We had both heard/read so many strong reactions, but neither of us had actually seen the video.
To the internets! And specifically, we went to Youtube.com and searched for “Pat Robertson” and found a clip:
Yikes. Just, yikes. Can’t even make that kind of stuff up. Scrolling down the other search results, we noticed an oddity… a video called “Sex With Ducks: the Music Video by Garfunkel and Oates”. Well! We were curious. What was this video about?
It’s “a pro-gay marriage song in response to a Pat Robertson quote that legalizing gay marriage would lead to legalizing sex with ducks.” Cute little vid.
And from that video, we happened to see a related video called “Wii Sex”. We could not resist the curiosity of what that could be all about. It’s actually a hilarious short skit written by Dennis Hemphill and Heather Campbell. Really? In a dirty garbage bin?
Then, after enjoying “Wii Sex”, we stumbled upon the serendipitous main attraction. “Monkeys having sex on a car hood”. This is a great short video where the reactions of the people shooting the video made us laugh and laugh:
And that’s how Pat Robertson made us watch monkeys having sex on a car hood. Who knew?
