Have you ever shaved your head?
Why, yes, many times.
I was an annoying punk rock kid in my late teens. In those days I dyed my hair many different colors: blue, pink, black, blonde. Realizing how stupid this was, I would quickly shave it all off.
The worst haircut involved a completely shaved head, except for a 10-inch rat tail that I double-braided and died white. I looked like a character from the bar scene of Star Wars.
