I think the biggest difference in casual photography like this today is before you really had no idea how the photo was going to be used. Maybe nobody would even see it. Now days, everyone can assume it will be shared on social media. I think the looks on our faces are different. We all used to have expressions more like David Lee Roth or Eddie Van Halen in this photo.
