Great article. I’ve only casually listened to Bon Iver on the radio, but now I’d like to hear more. I did not know Vernon was from Eau Claire, WI and went to UWEC – I’m an alum as well. One quibble from the article: The Joynt on Water Street in Eau Claire is not a “dive bar.” Other than that, really well done piece.
