Trying Goose Island "Harvest Ale" for the first time. This is really good beer and tastes like watching football in the Fall. The very nice man working for Goose Island handing out free samples at Zipps Liquor today was kind enough to make me hip to this great beer. I’ve enjoyed “Honkers Ale” by Goose Island for a long time. This Harvest Ale is not as spicy as an “October Fest” beer, but carries the same swagger. I highly recommend it. And unfortunately for that Goose Island rep at Zipps, I’ll be rooting for the Packers during this Sunday’s matchup with the Bears at Soldier Field. Sorry dude.
