So this is strange. I was followed by @MinnPostGate and @StribGate Twitter profiles yesterday. I worked at MinnPost.com and StarTribune.com previously and those new Twitter profiles appear to follow employees or former employees of each respective company. Hmmm….
So I check for a @CityPagesGate because I worked at CityPages.com, too, but no Twitter “gate” profile exists for them.
UPDATE!
Then I notice that @StribGate has a few test tweets with @WCCOGate! And then I stumbled on @PiPressGate. I type in @MPRgate and – A CLUE!!! – the name on that one is different than the rest:
“Tom Jefferson ”
In the words of double rainbow guy, “What does it all mean?” None of the profiles are tweeting any answers yet. Maybe someone is ready to launch some real DIRT on these local Minnesota media outlets? Why is there no @KSTPGate, or @myFox9Gate or @Kare11Gate?
Or, maybe, who cares?
UPDATE!:
@StribGate @bigboxcar And yes, I also have the profiles @MPRgate, @Minnpostgate, @PiPressgate, and @wccogate. I don’t mean to be deceptive

Hmm. Maybe they’re not teaching kids about ’WATERGATE“ these days? Anyways, no DIRT on these publications coming anytime soon, unfortunately.
