“Bubbler”? Seriously?
YES, BUBBLER! That’s what I call it. But I was born and raised in Milwaukee, so it makes sense.
It’s like calling facial tissue “kleenex” – it was a drinking fountain design trademarked in 1888 by Kohler Water Works.
Kohler simply pwned the drinking fountain market in the area with what was probably some awesome marketing.
