As it exists now, the Discover option isn\u2019t very comprehensive or well-organized, and it makes sense for Twitter to try to do that better. One of the service\u2019s challenges has always been to figure out how to keep new users engaged, since it isn\u2019t clear to many what exactly Twitter is for.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class='attribution'>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gigaom.com\/2012\/01\/20\/twitter-acquisition-confirms-that-curation-is-the-future\/?utm_source=dlvr.it&amp;utm_medium=twitter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter acquisition confirms that curation is the future \u2014 Tech News and Analysis<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is good news &ndash; probably. I never use the new &ldquo;Discover&rdquo; tab on Twitter. And I&rsquo;ve never used <a href=\"http:\/\/summify.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Summify<\/a>, but was *just* checking it out last week because it was recommended by a Twitter service called <a href=\"http:\/\/formulists.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">formulists.com<\/a> (which is shutting down, unfortunately).
