I then started following the eyeballs (or &ldquo;Eyevatars&rdquo;) when I happened to see them.<\/p>\n<p>My friend Dave actually got me thinking about it when he started Twitter and loaded this photo as his profile:<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/jeepsterdave\" rel=\"noopener\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/a3.twimg.com\/profile_images\/55706355\/InAPigsEye_bigger.jpg?resize=73%2C73\" height=\"73\" width=\"73\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kinda creepy, huh? That&rsquo;s actually his dog&rsquo;s squeak toy. Turns out, a lot of other people had eyeballs for profile pictures, too.<\/p>\n<p>After Twitter Lists launched, I found others who curated Twitter Eyeball profiles as well. I&rsquo;ve followed the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/iFollowEyes\/lists\" rel=\"noopener\">eyeball lists here<\/a> when I see them.<\/p>\n<p>Gotta admit, that grid of eyeball profile pictures turned out pretty nice.
