Perfectly sensible people will defend their positions on tax issues \u2014 even positions that run against their own best interests \u2014 because they subscribe to a certain political dogma, not because of the facts.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Yup, although when you\u2019re voting on a candidate and not an issue, you have to weigh multiple priorities.
