When I was on a bike tour in rural Ireland &ndash; where the streets not only have no bike lanes, but don&rsquo;t really have enough room for two lanes of cars &ndash; I noticed that the ONCOMING cars would move over so then the cars PASSING me had room to move over and give me 3 feet when passing. I was impressed (and relieved).
